Head of Transnational Education

Overview

In this role you will provide strategic leadership for Cardiff University’s Transnational Education portfolio, aligning growth with the Global Strategy. You will shape and govern high‑quality TNE partnerships across international markets, overseeing negotiations, agreements, and regulatory compliance. You will lead and develop the TNE team, driving collaboration and performance. This is a high‑impact opportunity to advance global education access and Cardiff University’s international footprint, including the Kazakhstan branch campus initiative.

Pay / Benefits

• salary £61,759 – £67,468 per annum
• full-time, open-ended contract

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the TNE portfolio
• Identify and develop new TNE opportunities and partnerships
• Lead and negotiate partnership agreements across international markets
• Oversee development and delivery of TNE agreements and compliance considerations
• Advise on legal, regulatory, and governance issues related to TNE
• Manage and develop the TNE team to high performance
