Training and Education manager (Robotics)

Overview

In this role you will design and run robotics-focused training programs to support sales, system implementation, and customer support across Western Europe. You will partner with regional teams to close skills gaps and enable continuous learning, driving onboarding and ongoing development for the robotics business. The role blends clinical and technical training delivered through digital, blended, and live formats at the IRCAD center in Strasbourg, with substantial travel. You will influence cross‑functional training efforts in a global matrix environment to accelerate Commercial growth.

Responsibilities

• Identify training needs by aligning regional stakeholders and pinpointing skill gaps
• Design and develop training courses aligned with organizational goals, applying standardized and customized approaches
• Deliver clinical and technical content using blended, synchronous, and asynchronous methods
• Evaluate training effectiveness through evaluations, surveys, and learning metrics
• Foster cross-department collaboration to promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years combined experience in two or more of: medical device sales/marketing, clinical experience (nursing, etc.), training delivery, or related areas
• Strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of field sales/support structures, processes, and culture
• Operating Room knowledge; robotic experience preferred
• Excellent influencing, interpersonal, presentation, and facilitation skills with leadership and coaching abilities
• Experience in multicultural organizations and diverse learning styles
• Proven ability to navigate a global matrix and deliver results
• Experience with project management and handling multiple complex projects
• Fluent English (spoken and written) required; European language capability desired
