Responsibilities

• set up, administer and close charities
• advise trustees on duties, powers and governance
• handle charity mergers, transfers of assets, closures and de-registrations
• draft policies for charities
• liaise with the Charity Commission on regulatory matters
• build and nurture client relationships
• participate in business development and networking activities

Key requirements

• 5+ years PQE in charity law (creating and registering charitable entities)
• experience advising trustees on duties, powers and governance
• experience handling charity mergers, closures and de-registrations
• drafting policies for charities
