In this role, you drive major enterprise accounts in the financial services sector, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to position Appian’s platform and services. You’ll articulate business value to executives, focus on modernization with AI and process orchestration, and help clients unify legacy systems. You will work to expand relationships, support reference selling, and shape go-to-market approaches for FS customers. Responsibilities
- Drive major enterprise FS accounts and penetration of new customers, including collaboration with SIs
- Leverage FS use cases like Customer Lifecycle Management, Connected Onboarding, KYC, Lending, Payments to frame value
- Discuss business drivers with decision-makers up to C-Level to secure buy-in
- Build and nurture relationships across organizational levels; ensure post-sales needs are met
- Contribute to GTM and marketing strategies specific to financial services
- Provide forecast/pipeline status and identify suitable customer references for reference selling
- Identify and engage relevant cross-functional resources (Marketing, Business Development, Customer Success, Solution Consulting) to meet sales goals
Key requirements
- Experience influencing digital transformation and CX initiatives at the CxO level and with consulting partners
- Excellent verbal/written communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to interact with C-Level financial customers and travel as needed
- Solid understanding of the enterprise sales process and ability to operate in a dynamic, high-growth environment
