Overview

In this role you support strategic account plans and trials for Abbott’s Electrophysiology portfolio, providing on-site technical and clinical support from installation through trial phases. You will train centers, monitor product adoption, and share clinical insights to inform sales and marketing. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to advance EP technologies like mapping systems and ablation catheters, contributing to clinical education and events. This position offers meaningful impact by enabling clinician adoption and trial success across the London and South East UK region.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic account plans with Territory Manager and drive trial adoption of Abbott technology
• Provide on-site technical support during installations and trial phases
• Deliver LMR and clinical project activities
• Prioritise Tier 1 accounts with secondary focus on Tier 2
• Develop and deliver tailored training programs and product presentations; ensure smooth handover post-trial
• Offer expert clinical and technical support during EP procedures and onboarding of new centres
• Contribute to EP product promotion, education programs, clinical training and Abbott events
• Maintain strong technical and clinical knowledge of Abbott products, therapies and market dynamics
• Monitor competitive landscape and share insights with Sales and Marketing
• Keep sales and activity tools updated with visit notes and account information

Key requirements

• Clinical experience in EP (NHS or industry)
• Degree in Sciences or Medical Engineering
• Holds or is finalising IBHRE/EHRA accreditation
• Medical background is a plus
• Knowledge of local healthcare market
• Familiarity with Cath lab and operating room procedures
• Strong Cardiac Anatomy & Physiology knowledge
