Overview
In this role you will lead residential property matters from start to finish within a respected Surrey firm. You will apply your deep knowledge of property law to advise on sales, purchases and leasehold transactions, while coordinating with clients and colleagues. You’ll perform legal research, draft and review documents, and ensure compliance with evolving regulations. You will be a key contributor to delivering precise, high-quality legal services and staying ahead of regulatory changes. This position offers a chance to shape complex property projects within a collaborative, professional environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of residential property matters from inception to completion
- Provide expert legal advice on property transactions (sales, purchases, leasehold)
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support client cases
- Draft and review legal documents ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Communicate with clients, colleagues, and external parties for updates and queries
- Stay updated on changes in property law and ensure compliance with legislation
Key requirements
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive focused on residential property law
- Proven experience handling a varied residential property caseload
- Strong knowledge of relevant property legislation and regulations
