Sessional Coach – Surrey

Overview

In this role you will deliver safe, inclusive, high‑quality football coaching across in‑school, out‑of‑school, and holiday programmes. You will build relationships with local clubs, schools and community partners to extend outreach and development activities. Collaboration with the wider team and line manager will help grow the programme and impact. This position supports youth engagement and safeguarding while offering flexible hours across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, inclusive, high‑quality coaching sessions daily across core programmes
• Engage with local clubs, schools, organisations, leisure centres, local authorities and The Club to grow activity
• Support and enhance the outreach delivery programme through networking and information sharing
• Carry out activities as assigned by Line Manager
• Assist in developing relationships and opportunities to widen programme reach

Key requirements

• FA Introduction to Football Coaching qualification (FA Level 1 equivalent)
• In‑date FA Safeguarding Children course & FA Introduction to First Aid in Football
• Clean driving licence or ability to travel to sites via public transport
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
• Experience in community/grassroots sport as participant or coach
• Team player with ability to work in a sporting environment
