Senior Technical Coordinator – Surrey – Residential Developer

In this role you will support the delivery of multiple new build residential developments from inception to completion, working with the technical and architectural teams to ensure packages are issued on time. You will liaise with commercial and production teams to align development efforts with project goals, while applying robust technical design and statutory compliance knowledge. Responsibilities

• Coordinate drawing packages with technical and architectural teams to ensure timely delivery
• Liaise with commercial and production teams during development
• Question and verify design information across disciplines
• Manage project programmes and identify critical paths
• Communicate effectively with all disciplines
• Organise teams and processes with strong attention to detail
• Ensure compliance with Building Regulations, NHBC Standards and sustainability considerations
• Oversee detailed design for RC frame and timber frame residential schemes

Key requirements

• 4+ years’ experience in residential development projects
• Strong knowledge of the development/technical design process
• Experience with RC frame and timber frame residential schemes
• Ability to interrogate and challenge design information across disciplines
• Architectural background; AutoCAD beneficial
• Understanding of Building Regulations, NHBC Standards and sustainability
• Ability to manage design programmes and identify critical paths
• Degree level education or a relevant professional qualification
• Excellent communication across all levels; highly organised with attention to detail
• Ability to manage people, processes and time; strong team player
