As a Commercial Property Solicitor, you will manage a diverse caseload spanning leases, acquisitions, development, financing and due diligence for a varied client base. You’ll support a growing regional team in Swansea, contributing to a high-performing department and client‑facing service. The role emphasizes technical property knowledge, strong client relationships and mentoring junior colleagues. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive efficient file progression and compliant practices. Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial property caseload including leases, landlord & tenant matters, acquisitions and disposals
  • Advise on estate management, planning, site development and development projects
  • Handle secured lending, real estate finance, and related property transactions
  • Provide due diligence support to Corporate team and assist with title, enfranchisement and portfolio matters
  • Mentor and supervise junior team members; ensure regulatory compliance and best practices
  • Build and maintain client relationships and support business development
  • Ensure efficient file progress and strong billing performance

Key requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer (England & Wales)
  • 2-5+ years PQE in Commercial Property
  • Ability to manage own caseload confidently
  • Strong technical knowledge across commercial property matters
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong client-focused mindset and attention to detail
  • Experience or interest in supervising junior colleagues
