EPC Project Engineering Manager – Oil & Gas

Overview

In this role you lead a multi-discipline engineering team on large EPC projects, coordinating deliverables to the project plan while controlling budgets and schedules. You will interface with client stakeholders and internal disciplines, ensuring design consistency and adherence to Aramco policies. The position involves bid support, proposal development, and potential international relocation to Saudi Arabia for project execution. You’ll drive change management, risk mitigation, and cross‑functional collaboration to enable successful delivery in a dynamic, energy-transition environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline engineering teams on a large-scale EPC project
• Coordinate project controls, procurement, and external/third-party contractors
• Ensure design consistency across disciplines and compliance with client specifications
• Prepare and support bid/proposal development and project execution plans
• Review ITB documents, estimate man-hours, and advise on cost-effective equipment specifications
• Participate in or lead multi-discipline design reviews and close-out actions
• Support strategic procurement planning including long-lead items
• Deputise for the Project Manager when required
• Ensure adherence to Aramco policies and project schedules and budgets
• Provide input to project progress reporting and stakeholder engagement

Key requirements

• Master in Engineering
• EPC/EPCM project management experience of comparable scale and complexity
• Saudi Aramco brownfield project experience strongly preferred
• Global work experience and experience in Oil & Gas or Low Carbon Energy Transition industries
• Cost estimating and planning execution knowledge
• Knowledge of international equipment specifications, codes, safety and quality procedures
• Excellent English communication skills (oral and written)
• Strong leadership, delegation, and stakeholder engagement capabilities
