Responsibilities

• Run a varied Court of Protection caseload and manage deputyship matters
• Make day-to-day financial decisions in clients’ best interests
• Contribute to shaping team strategy and practice development
• Collaborate with litigation teams on complex matters
• Supervise and mentor junior solicitors and staff
• Handle Court of Protection applications, statutory wills, and trustee matters
• Oversee annual reporting, budgeting, and property management
• Liaise with professionals to coordinate comprehensive client care

Key requirements

• Strong Court of Protection experience
• Solid knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act 2005
