Senior Family Solicitor – Leicester

Overview

In this role you will lead a privately funded family caseload in Leicester, advising on divorce, financial remedies and related matters. You will help grow the family team through business development and professional networking while mentoring junior colleagues. You’ll handle high-value, complex financial cases and maintain strong client relationships. Responsibilities

• Manage a privately funded family caseload
• Advise on divorce and dissolution of civil partnerships, finances, and high-net-worth settlements
• Oversee property and asset division, pension sharing
• Handle cohabitation disputes, separation agreements, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
• Develop referral relationships with financial advisers, accountants and other introducers
• Support and mentor junior team members

Key requirements

• Minimum of 8 years’ PQE in family law
• Extensive experience managing a private family law caseload
• Strong expertise in divorce and financial remedy matters
• Excellent knowledge of family law and current developments
• Proven ability to manage complex and high-value financial cases
• Strong advocacy, negotiation and client relationship skills
• Commercial awareness and proactive business development
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team
