Finance and Business Management Project Manager – Associate

Overview

As a Finance and Business Management Project Manager – Associate in Finance, you oversee a broad portfolio of initiatives from multi-year system replacements to process improvements. You partner with Finance, Technology, and Operations leaders to translate requirements into functional specs and drive end-to-end delivery. You’ll manage testing, risk, and documentation while coaching junior BAs in a fast-moving, matrixed environment. This role offers impact on controls, accuracy, and efficiency across the firm with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and translate Finance requirements into functional specifications; define operating model and data migration needs
• Develop and review end-to-end processes; specify feeds for target Finance environment
• Lead test strategy, plans, scripts, and data with Program Test Manager; validate requirements and operating model
• Coordinate migration activities with Business Lead and Project Manager; support training; manage risks; maintain project docs
• Coach junior BAs and deliver executive-ready status updates and reporting

Key requirements

• Solid understanding of Finance functions and end-to-end processes; translate requirements into technology outcomes
• Knowledge of regional Finance operating model, governance, and stakeholder touchpoints
• Experience in project lifecycle management including planning, governance, RAID, and status reporting
• Proven business analysis skills: requirements gathering, process analysis, and deliverables translation
• Ability to influence across Finance, Operations, and Technology in a matrixed environment
• Strong written communication and meeting facilitation; risk and issue management with controls mindset
• Finance and accounting acumen, including awareness of financial reporting impacts and controls
• Support for test strategy, UAT coordination, defect triage, and cutover readiness
