B2 Licensed Engineer – Edinburgh

Overview

As a B2 Licensed Engineer at EDI, you will perform line maintenance on Ryanair’s 737 fleet and support safe, compliant operations. You’ll lead and mentor mechanics and apprentices while handling routine servicing, defect rectification, and AOG recovery. This role reports to the EDI Station Manager and requires flexibility in a fast-changing environment. You’ll contribute to a high-volume, safety-focused maintenance operation with a renowned European airline.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing and defect rectification of Ryanair’s 737-800 and 737-8200 fleet
• Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery
• Maintaining a safe and compliant working environment in line with procedures and regulations
• Supervision and mentoring of Aircraft Mechanics and Apprentices

Key requirements

• Aircraft Line Maintenance experience
• EASA or UK CAA Part-66 B2 License with Boeing 737-NG Type Endorsement & Recency
• Boeing 737-Max Type Endorsement & Recency (Desirable)
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Good IT literacy with AMOS experience (Desirable)
• Unrestricted right to work and travel in the UK; Full UK Driving Licence
• 5 years maintenance experience and ability to complete EASA HF Module 9 and Aviation Legislation Module 10 (or equivalent)
