Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with clients and understand their businesses to advise on trade matters
• Advise on customs, export controls, and sanctions within international trade law
• Engage in business development activities to grow the client base and practice
• Work as part of a team and supervise more junior lawyers
• Collaborate with leading international trade lawyers and participate in cross-border projects
• Support global secondment opportunities and travel as needed

Key requirements

• Qualified lawyer with 2-5 PQE in international trade law
• Current experience in the International Trade department of a leading firm
• Strong technical skills with commerciality and demonstrated business development experience
