Animator

Overview

As an Animator at Framestore London, you will deliver high-quality keyframe animation that fuels story-driven, action-packed moments. You will align with Animation Leads to fit the show’s style and pacing, collaborating across teams to meet schedules. You will animate both primary and secondary characters and elements, while maintaining attention to detail under pressure. This role offers the chance to contribute to cutting-edge visual effects in cinema, within a collaborative creative environment.

Responsibilities

• Animate both primary and secondary characters and elements
• Maintain ongoing communication with Production and Lead regarding schedules and deadlines
• Work efficiently in team settings or independently to complete shots
• Submit shots for review and incorporate notes and feedback as needed

Key requirements

• Maya proficiency
• Understanding of physical motion, weight, balance, texture and form
• Knowledge of rigs, rigging setups, animation pipelines and data transfer between tools
• Open to direction and adaptable to change
• Reliable with good timekeeping and ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes and technical skills
