Senior Data Centre Engineer

Overview

In this role you lead data centre operations at a scaling FinTech, partnering with engineering to define SLAs and improve metrics. You mentor a junior team, manage vendor relations, and drive hands-on improvements across the infrastructure. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to automate processes and support rapid growth. This is a leadership-focused, technically grounded position at the intersection of operations and enterprise infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Key requirements

• Data centre experience and hands-on troubleshooting with Linux
• Ability to work via remote hands and coordinate physical/remote interventions
• Experience with vendor management and stakeholder communication
• Leadership or mentoring experience for a junior team
• Comfort working in a fast-scaling environment to implement changes
