Procurement Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead procurement for the Slough Sewage Treatment Works extension, coordinating with design, construction, and Thames representatives. You will manage prequalification, tender processes, and contract documents across multiple packages, ensuring compliant, cost-effective outcomes. You’ll liaise with supply chain bidders, facilitate meetings, and contribute to procurement strategy within the FC JV and with Thames. The position offers global context, collaboration across teams, and the chance to influence major infrastructure works with a focus on consistency and commercial excellence.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Design and Construction teams
• Liaise with Thames Commercial on SAF 1 and 2 objectives
• Administer prequalification and tender processes with supply chain bidders
• Arrange tender meetings for each package
• Draft subcontract conditions amendments and Data Part One/Two
• Draft/compile/amend Works Information for potential subcontract packages
• Draft/amend standard ITT documents
• Manage tender queries and mid-term/final tender meetings
• Prepare bid analysis and recommendations for Ferrovial Cadagua JV and Thames
• Attend FC JV meetings to discuss procurement strategy and terms
• Coordinate with M&E team for consistent approaches
• Coordinate with FC JV planners on programming and time documentation
• Provide specialist procurement contractual advice

Key requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
• Good knowledge of NEC contracts
• Excellent communication skills across all levels
