Overview

In this role you will lead end-to-end procurement across priority business areas, driving strategic sourcing and robust negotiations. You will partner with cross-functional teams to align procurement with group priorities, deliver value, and improve governance. You’ll work with senior stakeholders to shape requirements, manage contracts, and leverage digital tools to boost efficiency. Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end procurement activity across assigned categories and business areas, including sourcing strategy, RFPs, supplier evaluation, and negotiations
  • Partner with stakeholders across RRG, CCG and P&T to support diverse procurement needs
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders up to Director level and influence decision-making
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies that optimise total cost of ownership and create sustainable value
  • Challenge business requirements to ensure alignment with group priorities and best practice
  • Manage contract lifecycle activities including renewals, renegotiations and risk mitigation
  • Apply supplier management frameworks and support governance and performance activities
  • Collaborate with Finance to identify and validate savings and value delivery opportunities
  • Use Coupa to manage sourcing and contracting processes and support adoption by stakeholders and suppliers
  • Conduct market research and supplier analysis to inform sourcing decisions and negotiation strategies
  • Support continuous improvement across procurement processes, governance and reporting

Key requirements

  • Proven procurement experience across marketing, professional services and/or indirect spend
  • Experience sourcing and managing marketing agencies or consulting providers
  • Ability to manage complex sourcing activities and negotiations
  • Excellent stakeholder management and senior engagement experience
  • Strong analytical and commercial acumen to interpret spend data
  • Experience handling contract negotiations, supplier management and governance
  • Comfortable working across multiple business areas with competing priorities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience using procurement systems and tools such as Coupa or similar
  • Interest in procurement innovation and AI-enabled tools
