Contract Developer – Hospital Construction

Overview

In this role you will support the delivery of contract management for a major health programme, focusing on NEC4 ECC contract formation and administration within the H2A Alliance. You will help shape systems, processes and performance frameworks, providing hands-on support to NHS Trusts and project teams. You’ll work across alliances to ensure compliance, milestones and reporting are robust, contributing to continuous improvement and knowledge sharing. This is an opportunity to influence contract delivery at scale in a mission-driven health infrastructure context.

Responsibilities

• Support contract formation: prepare documents, due diligence, onboarding
• Set up and administer contract management systems and tools
• Create tooling to track milestones, KPIs, and performance metrics
• Develop systems/tools to support contract management at alliance and ECC level
• Maintain accurate contract records, correspondence and reporting
• Liaise with Trusts, Contractors and internal teams for compliance and readiness
• Contribute to lessons learned and knowledge sharing across the programme
• Support stakeholder communication plan development and implementation
• Assist with general project management of the contract management team
• Help define scope for future phases of programme delivery

Key requirements

• Solid experience in NEC4 ECC contract administration
• Understanding of alliance contracting and collaborative delivery models
• Familiarity with performance and incentive frameworks
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Health sector or public infrastructure experience desirable
