Overview

As Senior Site Manager, you will lead a mixed-use D&B project in Wimbledon, delivering a church with 18 residences to a high standard on site. You will operate as the on-site lead for a reputable main contractor, coordinating build activities across new build and refurbishment elements while maintaining safety, quality, and schedule. This role connects you with cross-functional teams to drive project success in a London-based portfolio that spans multiple sectors. You will contribute to a growing contractor’s pipeline of London projects and gain exposure to complex, multi-use schemes with a BREEAM Very Good target.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site delivery for the Wimbledon mixed-use D&B scheme (church + 18 apartments) as No.1 on site
• Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and interfaces to maintain programme and quality
• Ensure HSE compliance, site safety, QA processes, and best practices
• Monitor progress, report milestones, and manage on-site challenges
• Collaborate with client, design teams, and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain scope

Key requirements

• Degree or other relative qualifications
• Experience with reputable Main Contractor
• Experience on mixed-use schemes
• New build and refurbishment experience
• Track record across multiple sectors on projects up to 10m
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
• Able to commute to Wimbledon daily
