Financial Analyst

Overview

In this Financial Analyst role, you will deliver financial insights to support strategy and decision-making within a high-growth, international insurance business. You’ll work closely with senior FP&A leadership on performance analysis, KPI development, and strategic projects that shape growth and efficiency. The role provides visibility to senior leaders and exposure to cross-functional initiatives across a global operation. You will contribute to executive reporting and market analysis, helping translate data into actionable steps that drive value.

Responsibilities

• Deliver financial and commercial analysis to support strategy and decision-making
• Produce and enhance monthly and quarterly reporting for senior leadership
• Support development of KPIs and performance metrics across the business
• Analyze profitability across business units and identify growth opportunities
• Contribute to strategic initiatives across areas such as compensation, operations, and growth
• Prepare materials for senior leadership presentations and business reviews
• Support market analysis, benchmarking, and competitive positioning
• Assist with strategic projects, including recruitment and potential corporate activity

Key requirements

• Minimum 1+ year experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, or corporate finance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with excellent attention to detail
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Ability to interpret complex data and present clear, actionable insights
• Strong communication skills and confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders
• A proactive, inquisitive mindset with the ability to challenge and improve existing processes
