Overview

In this role you will own the digital experience across a multi-site, multi-brand organisation, aligning business needs with joined-up customer journeys. You’ll shape the digital roadmap, oversee development briefs, and ensure seamless integration across website, CRM, and other systems. You work closely with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into deliverable digital solutions. The position combines marketing, product thinking, and technical delivery to improve UX, conversion, and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Own the website and wider digital development roadmap
  • Gather business requirements and translate into digital solutions
  • Map processes and customer journeys before development
  • Assess if functionality fits website, CRM or integrated solution
  • Write briefs and user stories for development teams
  • Manage external developers and SEO agencies
  • Oversee testing, releases and QA
  • Ensure new features integrate with existing systems
  • Improve website UX, conversions and customer journeys
  • Manage technical, local and on-page SEO
  • Oversee paid search activity and performance
  • Resolve operational website issues (content, imagery, functionality)

Key requirements

  • Experience connecting digital experiences with physical/customer journeys in a complex environment
  • Ability to combine digital marketing knowledge with business analyst mindset
  • Experience owning a CMS-led website and digital roadmap
  • Experience briefing/managing development teams or agencies
  • Experience website/CRM or third-party system integrations
  • Experience UX, CRO and customer journey optimisation
  • SEO experience including technical and local search
