Responsibilities
- Write, test and debug code for complex features and distributed systems, including legacy migrations, while improving deployment pipelines
- Provide technical leadership, guidance and effort estimation on high-impact projects to ensure successful delivery
- Contribute to architectural and design decisions aligned with business needs and long-term technology strategy
- Review code and give constructive feedback to maintain quality and standards
- Collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders and participate in engineering communities of practice
Key requirements
- Strong experience in a modern backend-focused environment and software engineering best practices
- Expert understanding of software development principles and patterns (MVC, SOLID, DRY, KISS)
- Solid experience with Git and distributed version control
- Proficiency with TDD, BDD and non-functional testing approaches
- Strong DevOps mindset with ‘you build it, you run it’ experience
