Responsibilities

• Develop and expand the commercial, technology, IP, and data protection practice
• Maintain and strengthen client relationships and network with intermediaries and stakeholders
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and revenue streams
• Raise the firm’s profile through networking and speaking engagements
• Advise on a broad range of commercial contracts, tech agreements, IP matters, and data protection
• Lead on complex client matters with pragmatic, commercially focused guidance
• Collaborate with colleagues across offices and practice groups for a seamless client experience
• Mentor junior lawyers and foster a positive, collaborative team culture

Key requirements

• Minimum 5+ years’ PQE advising on commercial contracts, technology, IP, and/or data protection
• Excellent technical skills with strong commercial awareness
• Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for business development and practice growth
• Proactive, self-motivated, and commercially minded
• Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to mentor junior solicitors
