Internal Audit Manager – Wealth and Asset Management Europe (London)

Overview

In this Audit Manager role, you’ll help assess and challenge risk governance across RBC’s Asset and Wealth Management businesses. You will work in a global Internal Audit team, applying data analytics and AI to develop innovative testing approaches and deliver insights. You’ll build understanding of the business, coordinate testing strategies, and drive improvements with stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Assess the RBC control environment and drive change through audit outcomes
• Utilize data analytics and AI to develop testing approaches and insights
• Understand Asset and Wealth Management businesses and their objectives
• Plan and execute testing strategies to assess key controls
• Assess risk and communicate findings to Internal Audit and senior management
• Monitor progress on improvements and ensure commitments are completed
• Establish stakeholder relationships and provide ongoing risk and assurance coverage
• Contribute to team discussions and continuously improve audit practices

Key requirements

• Experience in audit or compliance within financial services
• Experience with Asset and/or Wealth Management is advantageous but not required
• Ability to apply traditional audit techniques alongside data analytics and AI
• Experience in leveraging data analytics and AI for audit testing and insights
• Strong curiosity, organization, and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team with ownership
• Capacity to manage multiple projects with changing demands
