Workday Extend Associate Manager

Overview

As a Workday Extend Associate Manager, you help clients maximize their Workday investment through architecture, design and procurement of Extend applications. You lead workshops, shape tailored Extend solutions, and guide a team of Extend consultants to deliver cloud-based HR capabilities. You work closely with clients, Accenture colleagues and Workday to ensure robust, scalable outcomes. This role places you at the center of GenAI-enabled delivery within Workday projects, offering growth across a global network.

Responsibilities

• Share leading practices and extend reuse strategies for Workday Extend assets
• Host workshops and steer discussions to tailor Extend applications to client needs
• Lead discovery sessions to conceptualize and architect Extend solutions
• Deliver requirements and design documents to development teams
• Manage and mentor a team of Workday Extend consultants
• Coordinate with client stakeholders, Accenture teams and Workday for robust solutions
• Engage in pre-sales activities to shape offerings for prospective clients

Key requirements

• Workday HCM and/or Financials, Integrations and Workday Extend certification
• Experience in architecting, designing and developing Workday Extend applications
• Strong analytical skills to collect, organize and analyze requirements using Workday Extend
• Ability to travel as needed and manage multiple teams and client interactions
• Thrives in a diverse, dynamic environment with ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal and written communications; ability to articulate complex requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; English fluency
• Experience in Workday integrations and/or other integration technologies
• Experience in custom software development in multiple coding languages
• Artificial Intelligence awareness and interest in GenAI-enabled Workday delivery
