Regional OTC Manager

Overview

As Regional OTC Manager, you will own the Order-to-Cash lifecycle for Northern Europe, directing regional sales ledger, credit control, and customer accounting in partnership with GBS. You will lead a high-performing regional team and act as the system Super User for SAP, TIS, and payment platforms, driving cost control and digital automation of financial workflows. Your role focuses on cash collection efficiency, accurate month-ends, and strong internal controls across OTC processes. Responsibilities

• Lead regional OTC lifecycle efficiency and achieve financial targets
• Oversee regional customer accounting workflows: credit control, master data quality, dunning
• Ensure daily cash collection and first-time cash matching; govern GBS for AR-to-GL reconciliations and month-ends
• Own regional financial metrics affecting balance sheet and pre-tax results; drive KPI performance (DSO, debtor days, bad debt, rebate accruals)
• Act as regional Super User for interfaces/systems (SAP, TIS, bank platforms, PayPal, Worldpay, Adyen, Nets) and lead modernization initiatives
• Implement and enhance platforms with Gemini and Google AI tools for automation
• Establish reporting structures for AR, aging, and open-item statements; enforce controls and support audits
• Lead, develop, and set strategic goals for the regional OTC team in alignment with Kärcher values

Key requirements

• Bachelor in Business or equivalent OR ACCA/CIMA Qualified OR CICM Level 5 / Graduate degree
• Senior experience in AR management, preferably in a regional or shared services environment
• Professional level English; Nordic language desirable
• Strong understanding of OTC lifecycle, AR/AP, reconciliations, master data management
• Hands-on with SAP (preferred), Google Workspace (Advanced Sheets), FIS and TIS
• Ability to analyze complex data, identify discrepancies, and deliver insights
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external stakeholders
