Commercial Manager

Overview

In this role you will oversee the commercial and financial performance of projects from inception to completion, ensuring strong cost control and contract discipline. You will collaborate with Project Management, Technical and Project Controls teams to provide commercial insight and support successful delivery. You will drive financial performance, forecasting, and reporting across a fast-paced project portfolio. Responsibilities

• manage commercial and cost performance of projects from inception to completion
• perform cost control, forecasting and financial reporting
• oversee contract management and financial controls
• collaborate with Project Management, Technical and Project Controls teams to provide commercial insight
• support delivery of major projects
• maintain strong contract controls and financial discipline

Key requirements

• proven experience in a Commercial Manager or similar role in an engineering, industrial or project-based environment
• strong commercial awareness with cost control, forecasting, contract management and financial reporting experience
• finance degree, recognised accounting qualification, or equivalent experience
• experience in a fast-paced project environment with multiple priorities
• previous experience using SAP (beneficial)
