Responsibilities

• Prepare outline and detailed civil engineering designs and calculations (civil, hydraulic, structural)
• Produce technical and commercial specifications, design reports and schedules
• Develop and annotate models and drawings
• Collaborate with commercial, operations and construction teams to deliver efficient, safe solutions
• Consider whole-life carbon and circular economy in designs
• Conduct site and asset surveys to inform design requirements
• Coordinate with MEP, Process, Geotechnical and Structural designers to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
• Manage interfaces and integration of civil design with other disciplines
• Engage with the client to support aims with a one-team approach

Key requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, or related field
• Working towards IEng / CEng with a relevant Engineering Institution
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
• Methodical problem solving
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel across the operational region
