Overview

In this role you will optimise and grow organic search presence for UK & IE markets, enhancing customer experience through on-page improvements and strategic content. You will work with writers, merchandisers and analysts to drive long-form content visibility and site hygiene. The position supports the SEO Manager and contributes to cross-functional projects, helping to shape the content roadmap. Responsibilities

  • Optimize on-page elements (meta tags, headings, content, internal links) across priority templates for Fashion, Home & Beauty
  • Lead editorial planning, brief creation, and gap analysis to inform content calendar
  • Develop topic clusters and align updates with taxonomy and category strategies
  • Identify content quality and internal linking opportunities using keyword and competitor data
  • Coordinate with external copywriting agency on budgeting, briefs and large-scale content batches
  • Report SEO performance to stakeholders and share insights
  • Provide SEO training and develop learning materials for wider teams
  • Support SEO Manager in roadmap and category prioritisation aligned with business goals
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects (content migrations, template development) applying best practices
  • Stay updated on search trends and industry developments, sharing opportunities with the team

Key requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in SEO teams or agencies
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices, content optimisation, search intent, and on-page factors
  • Good understanding of ecommerce page types and their SEO optimisation
  • Strong organisational skills for managing multiple projects and large datasets
  • Clear communication and excellent English grammar
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to build relationships with writers, editors, merchandisers, analysts and stakeholders
  • Data-driven approach with evidence-based recommendations and performance monitoring
  • Familiarity with SEO and analytics tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Google Trends, Adobe Analytics, Botify, SEO rank trackers) or willingness to learn
