Engineering Team Leader

Overview

As part of Perrigo’s manufacturing team, you will lead a Production Support Engineering group to keep packaging and production lines running to plan. You ensure equipment is fit for purpose, manage engineering parts and materials, and align priorities with production demands. You will drive continuous improvement through your team while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities

• Lead and line-manage the Production Support Engineers to deliver reliable equipment performance
• Maintain and procure engineering parts, materials, and consumables to support production
• Set long- and short-term priorities, allocations, and ensure smooth handovers
• Coordinate with external departments to understand customer requirements and communicate priorities
• Motivate the team towards improvement and continuous improvement initiatives
• Fulfill other duties as required to support Perrigo’s business

Key requirements

• Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship with 2 years post-qualification pharma experience
• NVQ II in Mechanical Engineering (preferably with Electrical Module)
• Ability to manage pressure and remain calm and approachable
• Ability to translate business priorities into team priorities
• Positive, flexible attitude towards department and customers
• Willingness to adapt to a change culture
