Residential Property Lawyer – Bournemouth – 4+ Years PQE

Overview

In this role you will handle a full caseload of residential property matters within the Land Law team of a growing regional practice. You will work closely with clients, agents, lenders and professionals to manage transactions from instruction to post-completion. The role supports junior lawyers, upholds high professional standards, and contributes to the firm’s ongoing growth. Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of residential property matters from instruction through post-completion (freehold/leasehold sales and purchases)
• Handle transfers of equity, remortgages, and new build/plot sales
• Perform title checks and draft documentation
• Liaise with clients, agents, lenders and other professionals
• Supervise junior lawyers and support staff when required
• Support collaborative team culture and maintain time recording and compliance

Key requirements

• 4+ years’ PQE in residential property and land law
• Strong technical knowledge with ability to manage full caseload independently
• Excellent drafting, communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Motivation, organisation and a proactive mindset
• Experience supervising junior team members (desirable)
• Ability to network and contribute to business development
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal IT systems
