Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload of residential sales, purchases, remortgages and transfers of equity
- Support qualified fee earners with all stages of a transaction
- Handle title checks, enquiries, searches, reporting and post-completion work
- Liaise directly with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors
- Ensure progress is clearly communicated and transactions move forward efficiently
- Maintain accurate file management and compliance with CQS standards
- Contribute to a positive team culture and deliver an excellent client experience
Key requirements
- Experience in a residential conveyancing team in a fee-earning capacity
- Ability to manage files or support fee earners across the full transaction lifecycle
- Strong understanding of the residential conveyancing process
- Good working knowledge of CQS standards (advantageous)
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a busy, supportive team
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- For senior roles: Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer; broad experience across residential property transactions
