As an Employment Associate you will manage a varied caseload in a growing law firm with an in-house feel. You will handle both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, advising employees and employers and drafting settled terms, policies and contracts. Responsibilities
- Advise on settlement agreements and negotiate terms
- Draft employment contracts, handbooks and workplace policies
- Handle a mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Provide clear, practical advice to employees and employers
- Ensure efficient, high-quality case handling aligned with regulatory processes
- Manage a varied caseload from instruction to conclusion
Key requirements
- Experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment work (essential)
- Strong knowledge of employment law and tribunal procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proactive, organized approach to caseload management
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, KPIs and SLAs
- Strong client care skills and collaborative working style
- Understanding of the SRA Code of Conduct
