Overview

In this Lead Consultant role you will guide a multidisciplinary engineering team and liaise with key stakeholders across the product development life cycle for aero engine design. You drive technical delivery excellence and ensure outputs meet quality, safety, cost, schedule, and manufacturability targets. You mentor engineers, manage priorities, and support governance to enable successful delivery with ownership and continuous improvement. Responsibilities

• Interface with key stakeholders across stages of the Product Development Life Cycle, Production, or After Market services
• Lead and develop a team of engineers and drive technical delivery excellence
• Ensure outputs meet customer expectations for quality, safety, cost, schedule and manufacturability
• Mentor team members and manage priorities while supporting stakeholder governance
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement
• Participate in technical reviews and concession review boards; liaise with customer technical authorities
• Collaborate with cross-functional specialists (e.g., Stress, Air system, Materials)
• Create design definitions, geometry, models, drawings and interface control documents
• Review concessions and propose changes through DAR process
• Perform fit, form and function analyses and tolerance stack analyses
• Engage in design modification for cost reduction, service, and manufacturing issues

Key requirements

• 10+ years of experience on turbomachinery components (Gas Turbine for Power and/or Aviation)
• Experience in aero engine modules: Compressors, Turbines, Combustion, Structures, Casings, Rotatives, Airfoils
• Experience with design, development and non-conformance/DAR/TAD/QN assessment of aero engine components
• Experience with engine external components installations (ducts, harness, pipes, hoses, brackets)
• Knowledge of non-conformance assessment processes and production/overhaul/service component sentencing
• Ability to capture customer requirements and manage project scope
• Experience with design definitions, geometry creation, models and drawings, and interface control documents
• Cross-functional collaboration with specialists (stress, materials, etc.)
• Reviewing concessions and proposing changes through DAR process
