Audit Senior Manager – Milton Keynes

In this role you will lead and shape complex audit engagements within a Top 15 UK firm, balancing technical delivery with client service and commercial impact. You will oversee a large client portfolio, act as the primary relationship lead, and coach the next generation of managers. Responsibilities

• Lead complex audit and accounts assignments from planning to completion
• Manage a large, diverse client portfolio including OMBs across multiple sectors
• Act as primary relationship lead on key client engagements
• Support Partners and Directors in executing strategic objectives
• Motivate, develop and coach Managers and wider team members
• Ensure quality control, technical compliance (UK GAAP, FRS102, FRS101, IFRS) and budget management
• Identify growth opportunities within portfolio and contribute to BD initiatives
• Manage WIP, recoverability and resource planning across multiple projects
• Play a visible leadership role influencing team direction and client strategy

Key requirements

• ACA / ACCA qualified
• Minimum 5 years’ post-qualified experience in external audit and general practice
• Strong technical expertise across UK GAAP, FRS102, FRS101 and IFRS
• Proven experience managing large client portfolios
• Demonstrated leadership with mentoring experience
• Commercially astute with ability to identify and pursue opportunities
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Natural leader who challenges status quo and builds long-term client relationships
