Senior Estimator – North West London

Overview

In this role you will lead end-to-end tendering for concrete frame, basement and groundwork packages, ensuring competitive and accurate estimates aligned to project scope and programme. You will collaborate with sub contractors, suppliers and internal teams to drive value and secure successful bids. The position sits in a commercial team that values precision and proactive thinking within a fast-growing specialist contractor. You will influence bid strategy, risk assessment and handover to delivery teams, shaping project outcomes in Northwest London. This is an opportunity to work on high-profile residential and mixed-use developments and to own the tender process from enquiry to handover.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end tender pricing for concrete frame, basement and groundwork packages
• Perform thorough technical reviews of drawings and specs to identify risks and key assumptions
• Coordinate and assess subcontractor and supplier inputs for accuracy and value
• Identify and develop value engineering opportunities to enhance bid competitiveness
• Support bid conversion, lead tender meetings, client presentations, and post-tender negotiations
• Ensure smooth handover to delivery teams with clear pricing strategies

Key requirements

• Minimum 6+ years in an Estimator or Senior Estimator role focusing on concrete frame, basement and groundwork
• Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or proven estimating background
• Based within commutable distance of North West London
