Director of Finance – South Yorkshire

Overview

In this role you will lead the UK finance function within a growing global services business. You will report to the local Managing Director with a dotted line to the Group CFO and drive financial governance, reporting, and partnering with the commercial team. You’ll oversee month-end close, statutory audit, and ensure accounting standards are applied consistently. You will act as a key business partner to shape commercial and operational decisions from a financial perspective. This opportunity offers influence over growth and governance within a multinational context.

Responsibilities

• Lead the finance team and contribute to the senior leadership team
• Oversee day-to-day and month-end reporting processes
• Lead the year-end audit and ensure financial statements comply with accounting standards
• Partner with the Managing Director and support commercial and operational decisions financially

Key requirements

• Qualified finance professional in a financial leadership role
• Experience in UK business within an international group is advantageous
• Services sector experience preferred
• Strong controls and technical accounting experience
