Construction Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate on-site construction activities to meet contract scope, budget, and schedule
• Develop and implement project execution strategies, constructability reviews, and risk assessments
• Manage field teams, subcontractors, equipment, and site logistics
• Monitor progress, KPI delivery, and reporting to senior management
• Ensure safety, quality, and environmental requirements are embedded in all activities
• Collaborate with engineering, estimating, and commissioning to support robust project estimates and handover
• Control change, cost, and schedule using commercial processes and documentation
• Support construction readiness and commissioning strategies via interfacing with discipline managers

Key requirements

• Extensive post-qualification field construction experience in pharmaceutical, batch chemical, or related process industries
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary projects and construction teams on-site
• Knowledge of GMP in a pharmaceutical environment
• Strong communication, delegation, and leadership skills
• Experience with constructability studies, construction readiness reviews, and risk assessments
• Proficiency in MS Office; some experience with Completions Management Systems
• Ability to work to timelines and targets, with a track record of delivering on time and within budget
