In this Real Estate Underwriter role, you will contribute to underwriting and pricing decisions within a leading insurance company. Responsibilities

• Support underwriting and financial objectives in line with business plans
• Build underwriting expertise and market presence
• Collaborate with colleagues and Line of Business representatives to support referrals
• Assess opportunities for alignment with appetite and strategy
• Evaluate and price risks with guidance from experienced underwriters
• Make well-reasoned underwriting decisions and provide pricing recommendations
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers and customers through meetings and visits
• Act as a key contact for customers and deliver excellent service throughout underwriting

Key requirements

• Previous Real Estate or Property underwriting experience is advantageous; open to beginners
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management
• Proactive with ability to manage a varied workload
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Confidence in negotiating and influencing outcomes
