Overview
In this role you lead on a flagship inner-London, mixed-use development, ensuring high standards of site management and commercial discipline. You will coordinate subcontractors, drive profitability, and manage cost control and valuations to keep the project on track. You’ll work closely with site supervision and contracts teams to optimise delivery within a 70m scheme, contributing to the company’s reputation for delivering large-scale projects. Responsibilities
- Manage subcontractor teams and payments including re-measures and site orders
- Liaise daily with site supervisor and contracts manager to quote ongoing works
- Seek initiatives to maximise profitability and implement with production
- Coordinate workload to meet deadlines and ensure timely valuations
- Collaborate with accounts to control costs and resolve issues
Key requirements
- Track record with a main contractor
- Degree qualification or construction qualification/experience
- Excellent all-round construction skills
- Willingness and ability to commute to London
