Overview
As a member of the European Credit Research team, you will analyze company fundamentals and industry dynamics to assess credit quality and value. You’ll build financial models, contribute to valuations, and write research for internal and external clients, collaborating with sales and trading to deliver timely insights. You will engage with management teams and clients, while developing sector expertise under senior mentorship. This role offers hands-on impact across European credit and opportunities to shape market views in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyse company fundamentals, earnings and disclosures to assess credit quality and relative value
- Monitor industry dynamics and news events affecting issuers and sectors
- Build and maintain financial statement models, forecasts and valuation frameworks
- Draft research notes and contribute to sector and thematic publications
- Present investment views to internal partners and external clients
- Respond to client and internal requests with timely market updates and market intelligence
Key requirements
- Experience in an analytical role with sector exposure (research, investment banking, accounting, or rating agency)
- Strong accounting and finance foundations, including interpreting financial statements and disclosures
- Proven financial modelling, forecasting and valuation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
