Software Engineer (UI/UX)

Overview

In this role you will help shape the Lambda Feedback UI/UX, developing现代 web interfaces to support formative feedback at scale. You will work with a small, collaborative team within a world-leading university to improve user experience and accessibility. You’ll influence product direction, deliver milestones, and engage directly with users to gather feedback. This is a hands-on opportunity to impact education technology at Imperial and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test and deploy UI improvements using React.js and TypeScript with CI/CD
• Collaborate with teaching staff, students and stakeholders to gather feedback and enhance the software
• Contribute to product direction by sharing ideas and prioritising development
• Produce technical documentation and support the user community

Key requirements

• Experience building modern web interfaces
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles; proficiency in at least two programming languages, preferably React.js
