Overview
As a Product Manager for Company Financials, you will shape the next generation of front-end applications and AI-powered workflows that connect trusted financial data to Bloomberg’s search and answers. You will own the product vision, roadmap, and cross-functional prioritization, collaborating with Engineering, AI, and data teams to deliver coherent workflows for financial professionals. You’ll determine where AI adds value, define data and grounding requirements, and ensure a unified user experience across datasets and analytics. This role offers impact in shaping enterprise finance workflows at scale and working at the intersection of finance, data, and AI.
Responsibilities
- Define and communicate the multi-year vision and roadmap for Company Financials applications and shared front-end capabilities
- Own prioritization for the front-end Engineering team across client workflows, platform investments, and reliability
- Conduct structured discovery with clients and internal users to identify valuable and frequent workflow problems
- Translate client needs into measurable outcomes, requirements, and success criteria
- Collaborate with central AI Product and Engineering teams to integrate Company Financials data into AI-powered experiences
- Define data, metadata, context, history, and provenance requirements for AI-enabled workflows
- Set expectations for answer quality, grounding, explanations, ambiguity handling, and evaluation within Bloomberg AI solutions
- Coordinate with other Product Managers to maintain coherent strategy across Bloomberg’s applications
- Define launch and adoption plans to embed new capabilities in client workflows
- Measure product performance via adoption, workflow completion, time saved, trust, reliability, and cost to serve
- Communicate strategy, progress, decisions, risks, and outcomes to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
Key requirements
- 5+ years of product-management experience for complex, enterprise products
- Understanding of how AI-enabled products use data and context (grounding, retrieval, evaluation, provenance, failure handling)
- Experience balancing specific user workflows with reusable platform capabilities
- Technical fluency in front-end architecture, data dependencies, system integration, scalability, and AI trade-offs
- Proven ability to operate in cross-functional environments with product, data, engineering, AI, and domain experts
- Comfort with ambiguity and creating structure where scope or success criteria evolve
- Collaborative stakeholder management
- Strong communication and credibility with financial professionals
- Ability to challenge assumptions and make informed trade-offs
