Overview

In this role you will contribute to building a new open source cloud-based platform for a luxury online fashion house in London. You will work within a cross-functional team to deliver scalable Node.js solutions and APIs, with a focus on backend development while engaging with front-end elements as needed. You’ll operate in a CI-driven environment and leverage modern open source technologies to support a fast-growing ecommerce platform. This is a permanent, London-based opportunity offering a competitive package.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Node.js applications for a new cloud-based platform
• Ensure deployment and scaling of services in a CI/CD environment
• Collaborate on full-stack development with backend emphasis
• Work with open source databases (MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, CouchDB)
• Integrate web services and APIs to enable platform capabilities
• Support the creation of a scalable, high-performance architecture for ecommerce

Key requirements

• Strong experience with JavaScript and Node.js
