Business Analyst

Overview

In this Business Analyst role, you will support a broad change program across the investment lifecycle, driving process improvement and translating business needs into actionable requirements. You will work with senior stakeholders to map processes and shape technology change within a private markets setting. Your impact lies in refining investment, deal execution, and fundraising workflows and enabling key data and systems initiatives. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that offers meaningful contribution to transformation efforts with clear business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• support process improvement across the investment lifecycle
• gather and translate requirements for technology changes
• map and optimise business processes
• engage with senior business and technology stakeholders
• drive data and systems initiatives to support investment activities
• contribute to a broad programme of change and transformation
• assist with knowledge of investment lifecycle processes (dealmaking, fundraising) and related operations

Key requirements

• private markets investment background (private equity or private credit)
• experience across complex investment and operational processes
• ability to engage with senior stakeholders and translate needs into requirements
• experience with process mapping and requirements gathering
• familiarity with DealCloud (beneficial)
• knowledge of Medallion Architecture (beneficial)
• experience with or implementing a TMS in financial services
• strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
