Overview
As Audit Executive, you will manage a varied client portfolio across sectors, taking ownership from planning to completion. You will work with Managers and Partners to deliver high-quality audits while developing technical and leadership capabilities. The role offers exposure to a broad client base within a supportive, growth‑oriented firm that is part of a global network. Responsibilities
- Manage audit assignments from planning through completion
- Produce planning memoranda and identify risk areas and audit approaches
- Delegate, supervise and review junior team members’ work
- Monitor WIP and escalate issues proactively
- Be the main client contact and manage correspondence/scheduling
- Tackle complex audit areas on selected assignments
- Ensure deadlines are met including Companies House and corporation tax filings
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and introduce wider firm services
Key requirements
- AC A/ACCA/ICAS qualified
- Newly qualified or up to 1 year PQE in practice
- Experience leading audits and supervising junior staff
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and audit software (e.g. CaseWare, Sage, Alpha Tax, VPM/Central)
- Organised, commercially aware and confident managing multiple assignments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
