Overview
As an Newly Qualified Employment Solicitor, you will join a collaborative, purpose-driven team to advise clients across education, business, charity and social enterprise sectors. You will handle a varied caseload, from Contracts and TUPE to Tribunal advocacy, helping clients navigate employment law while supporting cross-office HR and business development initiatives. The role offers hybrid working and a chance to develop specialist knowledge within a respected national practice.

Responsibilities
- Provide employment law advice to clients and prospective clients
- Manage Employment Tribunal matters with supervision where appropriate
- Review and draft contracts of employment
- Advise on disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Advise on TUPE matters
- Prepare bespoke contracts, secondment and consultancy agreements
- Advise on discrimination issues (disability, age, religion/belief, sex)
- Assist with termination negotiations and settlement agreements
- Understand pension implications
- Prepare cases for Tribunal hearings and advocate at hearings
- Meet clients at client premises or any office location
- Collaborate across the wider firm
- Support HR Consultants across multiple offices
- Contribute to business development and client contact initiatives
- Maintain CPD and develop specialist knowledge
Key requirements
- Experience in employment law during training or post qualification
