NQ-4 PQE Military Solicitor – Cardiff

Overview

In this role you will join a busy claimant litigation team in Cardiff, handling a varied portfolio of military-related personal injury matters. You will work on sensitive, complex cases including clinical negligence and industrial disease arising from service, guiding claims from enquiry to settlement. You’ll draft pleadings, review medical evidence, and instruct experts while advising clients with empathy. Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of military-related personal injury matters from enquiry to settlement
• Draft pleadings and witness statements and review medical evidence
• Prepare schedules of loss and instruct relevant experts
• Advise clients on complex and sensitive issues
• Liaise with Counsel and attend conferences
• Supervise junior fee earners (depending on experience)
• Support wider PI and clinical negligence teams when needed

Key requirements

• NQ-4 PQE with experience in personal injury, clinical negligence or related litigation
• Confidence managing own caseload and meeting deadlines
• Excellent client care skills and ability to handle sensitive matters with empathy
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proactive, ambitious and self-motivated approach
